Stonebrook Inn - Counce

This place was a real let down. The sheets didn't fit the bed properly and I had to buy cleaner just to make it tolerable, how does that even happen? Oh, and after such a wonderful experience, I expected at least a complimentary gesture-not so much as a bottle of water! I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't!

Booked a double room, that included central heating, multi-channel television and a microwave. The staff were exceptionally nice and very welcoming and knew their area.

The room was pet-friendly and had private bathroom plus a microwave oven, coffee and tea making equipment, and a fridge. Location: the hotel was just off State Park n restaurant as well as Pickwick lake. It also was in the middle of jackson👌

The room was fairly clean and I appreciated that the staff quickly brought us extra towels and bath linens, although the condition of the bathroom was subpar with no toilet paper available.

The place really needs a deep cleaning!!! The walls are filthy, the wallpaper is peeling, and the carpets feel sticky. I highly recommend better maintenance for the bathroom doors and investing in some decent bedding!!!

This time, the room's air conditioning worked well and the location was just perfect. It exceeded my expectations.

Had a blast with my friends! The place was cozy and perfect for our group getaway. We spent our days exploring nearby attractions and relaxing. The water was consistently hot, great after a long day. I'd recommend checking out the local marina and nearby hiking trails. Great spot overall!

Unfortunately, we did have an issue with some bugs in our room. It was unsettling to find them, and I think it definitely needs to be addressed. It's something future guests should keep in mind.

Close to the water but lacking

The place is pretty dated and in need of serious cleaning. Found bugs in the room, just not cool. The location was clutch though, right by the boat launch. The bathroom had hot water, nice, but the overall condition? Yikes! Definitely could use some TLC!

The only positive was the staff that were friendly and helpful. They brought us extra towels and linens quickly when we asked and even apologized for the inconvenience. The location was pretty close to the boat landing, convenient after a long day.

It wasn't exactly affordable,, but I guess considering the area you should expect this.

The room could've been cleaned better before I checked in. A little dusting wouldn't hurt and maybe some better fitting sheets would be a plus.

But honestly, if I wanted a bug buffet, I would've just gone camping! Let's just say, I wasn't ready for my room to come with friends.

Stonebrook Inn in Counce provided a comfortable room with convenient amenities in a perfect location near dining options and the lake, as well as close proximity to the Shiloh Falls Golf Course.
